For the month of April, all of my "A to Z" posts are directly related to my writing: the markets where I submit my work, in particular. Today, we take a look at Misfit Magazine. They keep their writers' guidelines simple and to the point:
"Currently accepting flash fiction pieces with a minimum of 500 words, maximum of 1000 words in any genre. All fiction must be previously unpublished material."
Pro: a paying flash fiction market ($10), electronic submissions accepted
Con: response time is between two and three months
I've submitted one story to Misfit Magazine so far and received a form letter rejection. There can never be enough paying flash fiction markets, so I'm glad this eZine is continuing to accept subs, and I'll have another story for them sooner or later, I'm sure.
Thanks for visiting; enjoy the next "M" stop on your A to Z tour!
