For the month of April, all of my "A to Z" posts are directly related to my writing: the markets where I submit my work, in particular. Today, we take a look at another pro-paying market: Redstone Science Fiction. They keep their writers’ guidelines to the point:
“We publish science fiction, anything from post-cyberpunk to new space opera. We do not want supernatural horror, urban or heroic fantasy. No vampires, sparkly or otherwise.”
Pro: a pro-paying market (5 cents per word), electronic submissions accepted
Con: none that I can see
So far, I've submitted only one of my stories to Redstone, and I received a personal rejection letter in just over a month. They seem to prefer strict SF—as opposed to most of my speculative, Twilight Zone stories—so when I have something else I think they might like, I’ll be sure to send it in.
Thanks for visiting; enjoy the next "R" stop on your A to Z tour!
