"Captain Quasar" @ Ray Gun Revival

Have I told you how long I've wanted to get into Ray Gun Revival? How about: ever since I first heard about the zine, back in '09! But try as I might, I haven't had just the right story for them.

Until Captain Quasar, that is.

He made his first appearance @ Every Day Fiction back in August of 2010, and since then, I've written three more adventures with him and Hank (the very hairy biped) in starring roles. "But how can that be?" you ask. "Didn't they blow themselves up in that first story?"

Right. So, "Captain Quasar and the Insurmountable Barrier of Space Junk" is really more like a prequel than a sequel in that regard. And whereas the original tale was flash-sized at 1,000 words, this one is bigger by thrice.

All this to say, when you have a chance, head on over to Ray Gun Revival and see what you think of Captain Quasar's latest misadventure. And if you're feeling extra bold or daring, rate the story and leave a comment over there.

He'll be glad you did.
