Heroes

It looks like Coyote Cal and Big Yap will ride again, thanks to the fine folks at The Alchemy Press. I received word yesterday that my Write1Sub1 from May, "The Last Laugh," will be included in their Book of Pulp Heroes, scheduled for release in paperback this fall, followed by an eBook edition later on. Here's a preview of the cover art. Pretty snazzy, don't you think? 

This will be my fourth Coyote Cal weird western published to date, following "Fool's Gold" (originally in Pulp Empire's Heroes & Heretics anthology), "Coyote Cal's Guide to the Weird, Wild West" (originally in The Red Penny Papers), and "El Diablo de Paseo Grande" (originally in the Arcane anthology). These characters have stuck with me for over 20 years, and it does my heart glad to see them finally greeting the world via these mighty cool venues.
